Literature Text
There's a monster beneath my bed. There's one in the closet as well. Every night they come out to scare me. Every night it's a different monster. They don't know. They don't know that I am The Slayer. The monsters that come to my room are not an accident. I lure them in with my sweet innocent behavior. They hide behind my door and under my bed until the night is deep and dark. This is when they strike, but I know them far too well. My blade is quicker, my eyes better adjusted; keener is my gaze as the howl of the demons I slay pierces the night. The deep purple blood drips from the wound, down my arm and I smirk a wicked smirk that has no pity. I hear my mother say, "Good night demon slayer. Goodnight."

If you can read this, you can do arithmetic
“I can’t read!” I bet that’s something you don’t hear people say often. Everyone has enough knowledge of the English language to string together a text message. So why is it acceptable to suck at math? More importantly, why is it acceptable to suck at arithmetic?
Recently, I found myself in a classroom full of Grade 12 students. I wrote a simple, two-digit multiplication problem on the blackboard and asked who could solve the equation without the aid of a calculator. In a class of almost 30, only a few students raised their hands. Not only was this disappointing, but it was somewhat frightening too, bec
For HunterDog, who asked me to write something. I hadn't the foggiest idea what to write, but I was listening to Voltaire's Goodnight Demon Slayer, and decided to write something about it. It's short, but here you go!
I strongly suggest you listen to Voltaire's song. This is like what happens after the song, in a sense. It's a very amusing song that tells a child what to do to the monsters hiding about their room.

Update: Wonderful news for those of you who liked this story. I'm expanding on it to turn it into a longer short story of around 10 pages.

child monsters equal peadophiles.
just that, always only that.
person who claims child has imagination and sees or hears monsters is a criminal.
this is a very dark story, symbolically saying that a mother doesn't care for the fact that her complaining child is in danger.
Voltaire's song which you mention is also about the same thing, symbolically telling of children attacked by criminals, who are always paedophiles and very often murderers.
